This tutorial
will walk you through setting up your I-Mail Web Based
E-Mail through Outlook Express.

Firstly, you
must open Outlook Express.
First, look on your desktop for an icon labeled Outlook
Express. If you can't find it there, check in the Start
Menu under All Programs.
NOTE: When you open the program, you may find some
popup message boxes and wizards that popup. Close all of
them.

From the
Toolbar:
Click on Tools >> Accounts...
Click on the Mail tab.
Click on Add >> Mail...
The account setup wizard appears.
On the first
screen, it asks for your name. This name is what appears
in the FROM: field on the email you send.
After entering your name, click Next.

Now, you need
to enter your e-mail address. Enter in your e-mail
address we set up with you.
Example: yourname@triver.com
or
Example: yourname@cwwis.com
After entering your e-mail address, click Next.

There are 3
settings in this new window you need to check.
The first is the type of incoming mail server. Ensure it
says POP3.
Next you need to type in the incoming and outgoing
servers.
Incoming mailserver = web3.triver.com
Outgoing mailserver = web3.triver.com
Double-check the information. When your confident it's
correct, click on Next.

Now enter in
your login name and password. Your account name will
appear with the @triver.com extension.
EXAMPLE: name@triver.com
or
name@cwwis.com
Check the Remember Password checkbox.
NOTE: By checking this box Outlook Express will remember
your password you will not need to enter it when
checking your e-mail. This will allow anyone who uses
your computer can read your e-mail.
DO NOT CHECK THE "Log on using Secure Password
Authentication (SPA)" CHECKBOX.
Click Next.
Click Finish.

You will be
returned to the Internet Accounts Window
Select the account you have just created.
Form the menu on the right pres the properties button.
When the new window appears select the Servers Tab
At the bottom of the window place a check mark in the
"My server requires authentication" box.
Click on OK
Click on Close
